Yナンバー

米軍関係者、基地外国人やその家族の車両につけられるナンバー。通常、ひらがなであるべき部分が「Y」となっていることからこう呼ばれる。
車庫証明は不要、自動車税は五分の一、高速道路料金は無料。
このナンバーの車両にぶつけられても保障はほとんど受けられない場合があるので沖縄県民は特に警戒している。

尚、軽自動車の場合は「Aナンバー」となる。
