終戦直後、沖縄が米軍の統治下にあった頃に、米軍兵相手の営業を許可されたレストラン、店だけに発行された衛生許可証。
米兵の入店を認めたＡＰＰＲＯＶＥＤ（許可済み）の頭文字Aを大書した許可証のことで1953年に初めて発行された。
Aサインを取得するには米軍による衛生・施設面での厳しい検査をパスする必要があった。
